These look to be some of the counterfeit Champions that
showed up in the USA in the early 80s.
Do they hit hard as a rock?
The genuine Champions came in a cardboard box, plain white, or covered with
silver paper imprinted with the logo.
When the new owners revived production in the 90s - they updated the packaging.
btw - they were made in France.

You are right about the boxs. The old box had $20 each in pencil.
I might still have one somewhere. I combined crap like crazy. I kept the plastic box because it was the only one like that.
I sent some to Nelson Regaldo if I rember right in Miami in origional box.
