Folks:

Just FYI, in case you might've experienced trouble getting to AZBilliards in any way/shape/fashion (whether that be from desktop, mobile, app, etc.), you might want to be aware that there's an issue that's known, but was not properly prepared for by hosting companies and Internet Service Providers (ISPs):

In a nutshell:

1. Routers on the Internet use a protocol called BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) to communicate their route tables to each other, and to keep track of alternate links / backup routes.

2. Many older router products (doesn't matter who makes it -- Cisco, HP, Juniper, what-have-you) have a BGP route table size limitation of 512K entires. This is a hardware limitation.

3. The BGP route table on the Internet is dynamic, and if it grows past 512K route table entries, you're going to see parts of the Internet "disappear" as some routes are purged to make room in that older router's route table space.

If you've experienced this, the best thing (actually, the only thing) you can do is to report it to your ISP. It might be your ISP's problem, or it may be an intermediary. You won't know for sure, unless you're really good at probing Internet routers and asking for their route table to see if they have a larger-than-512K route table or not. Besides, it's not your job to do so. Hosting companies and ISPs need to get their shat together and get their routers upgraded or replaced.

Just FYI,
-Sean
