Forney is actually considerably more intelligent than Holmes from my experience. And considerably more criminal.

The MODS need to create a sticky where we can place all the names of jackasses.

Forney did use J Holmes and John Holmes as aliases. I guess this loser just got lucky having similar names as the mega scammer Forney.

Just another reason for not accepting PayPal unless its someone you know well. Personal check or money order saves you a lot of headaches.

I wouldn't rule out that this is Forney.

In fact, I think odds are this is him.

I had an offering posted in the FS section that wasn't really going anywhere.
Jack hit me up, basically asking if I'd considered altering the cue from original condition, remove cue maker logo,
have a wrap groove cut, install white/dbl blk linen, add ring work, and "re-word" my sales pitch to make it appear to be a much higher dollar cue.
Jack, spoke very highly of Matt @Proficient Billiards,
and even sent me a follow up pm encouraging me to
convert my wrapless NewSherrif purple heart cue into a "high value" merry widow.
I told him I wasn't interested in pursuing his idea, but thanks.
He then replies that he has no idea why I'm even selling such a great cue. He'd keep it if it were him.
I had it listed at a give away price.
Jack seemed upset I was selling the cue for so cheap,
but made no offer to buy it.
I wondered why he was so worked up about it.
I stopped responding to his messages after his last attempt to give me instructions on how to make more money off the cue...
Definitely struck me as odd.
