The workmanship looks top notch and the design is a dandy.

Curious to know why you chose Maple for the handle & dyed
it black versus say ebony. I was imagining the wood density
and weight might have been the reason for not using ebony.

The only thing I’d like to see changed is the rings. The design
is really nice so a little larger in size would have looked great.

Someone must have ordered a uniloc.
Not that there's anything wrong with that

Ebony handles??
Yes Sir, I've done them before. I double cored them. Butts finished around 14.8 to 15 oz.
The reason for pursuing the black dye is,
I have a very good inventory of black, dry Ebony.
Good ebony is getting harder to get so I keep it for Forearms, points and butt sleeves.
Next reason for black dye is, if I refinish someone's cue who has a wrap but wants to go wrapless. Black matches everything. And more importantly, I don't have to needlessly cut someones cue in half and rebuild it.
Examples
Pechauer, Meucci and Robinson.

Thank you Sir
And yes to the joint screw. Someone i use to talk to more than I do now once said:
Mike, you offer to many joint screws and I simply replied maybe you don't understand what CUSTOM means as much as you think it does.
Can it be challenging, Sure
Is it effective in today's Cue making with the after market shafts and the different joints people prefer. IT SURE IS!

Thank you very much. I'm taking the rest of this year to clean up my back log and hopefully get some sleep with a clear conscience.

What a nice comment to read....a cue-maker with a sense of fulfilling orders for customers without leaving them just waiting for it.
Mike used the term conscience & that by itself tells me he is a man with high moral standards and expresses himself with candor.

I learned the hard way. But I did learn. I also learned when to say NO.

Mr. Klein is a great man, friend and Cue maker. I have a dozen oversized blanks about 20 years old. I haven't done a sneaky since 1995 but I might do something with these when I can. I have some ideas to add to thier full splice construction that might satisfy what I don't like about full splice blanks. No offence or disrespect to anyone. I've been around this Industry 30 years and I've seen some things.
