I have a cue I purchased in 1990 (maybe late 1989) and I am trying to 1. identify it and 2. check on the materials used to make it. I was told at the time of purchase that the inlays are ivory, but the Schon website says micarta. I know that at one time ivory was used, just not sure of when that stopped.
