After Halle Berry requested that Gabriel Aubry be banned from having any contact with their daughter Nahla the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services recommended the three-year old be taken to counselling. The court denied Berry’s request.

Today, Berry asked the court to order supervised visitation when Nahla is with Aubry, pending the outcome of the criminal investigation. Aubry is opposed to supervised visitation.

Aubry is currently under investigation for child endangerment and criminal battery after Nahla’s nanny reported that Aubry pushed her into a door while she had the child in her arms. Aubry has since filed a restraining order against the nanny, Alliance Kamdem. News sources have reported that police do not believe any charges will be brought against Aubry in the matter, since the allegations are all based on “he said, she said.”

Radar Online reported that a source close to the matter said the Department of Children and Family Services has written an report saying that no custody changes should be made and advising that Aubry and Berry take parenting classes together so they can understand how their fighting is effecting their daughter.
