I recently purchased my first high end cue. This is a Richard Chudy. Your comments are welcome.

Nice looking curly maple, heard good things about those types of joints. It looks like the type of cue you expect to hit real good.

I love this cue

What is the dark wood in the butt?..it's gorgeous

I have a Joey Gold shaft that would probably fit this cue....

Actually I bought this from a friend. So I don't know exactly what the particulars are concerning the wood/grains/etc. Thats why I posted this-I'm sure someone can shed some light on it. I am going to email RC3 the pics to see if he can give me any info on age and everything else.

Richard Chudy is a real artist.

Whenever I see him at events, I spend a good amount of time chatting with him and admiring his work.

His signature one sided veneers are brilliant and excecuted to perfection. I am very proud to also own one of these.

The G-10 pin he uses hits great.

The wood in your cue may be a buckeye burl that he has fooled with using an impregnantion technique for the added color. His wood choices are spectacular.

Please let us know what he tells you about your cue in his response.

Good luck with it - it's gorgeous.

Best,

Stunning cue! Love everything about it. Beautiful curly maple, interesting choice of wood/color for points....

His one sided veneers really appeal to me and I'm a big fan of reverse points.

Let me know if you ever get tired of it.....:D

RC3 - he almost always forgets to put the other half of the veneers in.

Great looking cue.

Awesome. I checked out the rc3 website. He does beautifull work, but too rich for my blood. Working my way to 25.

That is a very beautiful cue. From the rings, to the inlays, to the wood, I like everything about it. Nice pick up.
