Purpleheart Titlist Conversion

I’ve been working this pool cue on and off for quite some time. This is my first semi-solo conversion. I’ve had many individuals collaborate on different components and I would proceed with caution. It was not without a failure here or there, but I was able each time to recover without issue. Once again, I learned quite a bit by being persistent and diligent. I think it turned out pretty good. This pool cue comes in at 18.5 ounces, has a buckhorn joint and an ivory ferrule. The fading ring pattern is imitation ivory. It’s not perfect, but it is original.

Excellent .....
"It's nice to have part in building a cue for yourself"
Several years ago ,
i worked and apprenticed in a small shop here in Tulsa.
Made several cues for myself-
sold them all-
needing the $$ as a single dad-
I was able to get back the last one and the nicest one I made ,
recently in the pool hall

Thank you, I’ll probably work the fading ring pattern on future projects as I suspect some of my other blanks will require a lengthy extension. It just seemed like a good way to stretch it out.

Cheers

The few cues I’ve took part in we’re all conversions. I love reviving them and hope I can iron out my methods. I’m just a hobbyist, and really enjoy trying to dial in my equipment.

Cheers
