McDaniel Cue

I just hit some balls with a McDaniel cue, I really liked the feel, I think its about 3200 new. It felt about 2 ounces lighter than it actually was for some reason. I really like the way the cue hit. Can I expect the same hit from a $1000.00 plain cue made by him? Also, are his older cues made the same and the feel the same ? Thanks in advance

If the general composition (Joint, Pin, Shaft Taper, Tip...) of the cue is the same it will more than likely play close.

All the McDaniel cues will hit the same nice and solid with a good feel. The reason for the cue seeming lighter is 'balance'.

I've owned two McDaniel cues that Bill made to my specs. One had a piloted 5/16 x 14 ivory joint and the other was a solid ivory flat-faced 3/8 x 11.

Both played jam up with great action and feel. Everyone who has owned a McDaniel will attest to this.

Grab one while you can as Bill has retired years ago.
