Funny it seems both Triangle and LePro quality has improved back to what they once were.

Do you really think its his cue tip?????????????????

I have tried ALOT OF CUES-
Different joints, pins, and the L D OPTIONS TOO-
I pretty-much end playing really well with any of them....
BUT I always have a tip preference on any cue-

I have spent hundreds $$ experimenting with all of the tip options too-

ULTRA SKIN BLACK "HARD"
The most consistent-playing / performing tip I have used....
My buddies in the pool room seem to go for the Blue ZAN-
ZAN Too soft,
and I tried the hard zan- No action at all, for Me

I grew up in Baltimore-

There was a guy who Played in the local pool room-
Tom Vanover "CIGAR TOM"
Tom could run out 9 ball ,
Playing with a BROOM...
I know,
It's not the arrow, it's the indian....
I like the cue ball control T Rex has , especially on his banking

So....are you going to cut off the Ultra-Skin and install a Triangle???

I've been saying it for years, a Triangle tip and a cube of Master's chalk is all anybody ever needs. I just cannot fathom paying $25-$30 for a tip and the same amount for a single cube of chalk.

That said, I really don't care how people spend their money. If it makes 'em happy....then they SHOULD go for it (as long as their kids aren't going hungry ).

Why would his cue ball control be any different in banking than any other shot?

The cue ball is just hitting an object ball and it doesn't know the object ball is banking.
