Team CSI vs Team USA

Team CSI is motley crew of mostly under the radar guys and couple of old folks. One is old kid who now plays with glasses. Another is retired/semi retired player turned commentator. Yet another used to play right now plays left. :grin-square:
But Team CSI have nothing to lose and pressure will be on Team USA.
Both teams pretty even. Last year England was slight favourite , got on hill 6-3 (in race to 7 matches ) but still lost 6-7
This year is shorter race to 5 matches so it may be touch and go and a blowout where one team may just win 5 straight 5-0
This will be a fun matchup and looking forward to it

Clarification

Has anybody noticed how Mark Griffin always comes with a cool pool idea? He belongs in the BCA's Hall of Fame.

Great idea! Team CSI's strongest member is Alex, of course, but the other four are capable beating any world beater on the face of the planet.

Long live Mark Griffin! And USA, ALL THE WAY, of course! :)

Just to clarify, conducting this warm-up match was Matchroom's idea. They did this last year as well when Team England took on Team USA.

With the event being in Las Vegas this year, Matchroom asked CSI for assistance in conducting this year's warm-up match. Together, we formed the idea for Team USA to take on Team CSI. CSI assembled a great team and it should be an exciting match.

Griff's Billiards generously agreed to host the match.

SIDE NOTE
Mark Griffin sold CueSports International (CSI) in August of 2018. He currently owns Griff's Billiards in Las Vegas which has become legendary in just a few short years.

There should be no doubt that Mark Griffin belongs in the BCA Hall of Fame. His contributions to the industry are astounding. Frankly, we have been stunned by the votes of the United States Billiard Media Association (USBMA) the last few years.
