I’m trying to extend the shelf’s on my pockets.

What do you think of my work so far?

I don’t understand either. Looks like you are removing material instead of adding. I don’t think changing the radius is going to get you there.

You're posts generally (no offense intended  ) seem level headed.

Is this something you found when the cloth was removed?
Or a troll?

Is it still part of a "real" table?????

Pretty funny, though.

OK.....here is the whole truth.

This is an American Pool Table in England that was butchered by the previous hacks.

Here is the link...

Hacking a table goes International!

My guess would be the slate point was broken off on one of corner pockets.
Instead of replacing, or gluing it back in place, someone tried to blend it in.

The blend itself looks ok but the matchup to the other corner point is lousy.

Slate was converted more than likely from a billiards slate to a pocket slate, and the rail bolt holes didn't line up because of it. Its clear who ever tried cutting the pockets out had no clue what they were doing, but hey....if you're willing to pay, someone's always willing to take your money.....all you have to do is ask for something so off the beaten path of working on pool tables that no experienced mechanics will touch it, and then hire the hack that will😂🤣😂🤣
