Can anyone tell me how you enter the events (prepay or cash on the day at venue)?

Are there special rates for the hotel, (nothing listed on website)?

As I recall they open sign ups on dcctickets.com around mid October and also post the hotel registration discount code. On site sign ups are done at the signup window until noon on the day of the draw at 1:00 on Fri, Sun, and Wed for banks, 1p, 9ball respectively.
