I, too, love Bill Stroud's works.
If you followed Bill's time in the pool world, you will see that he is the total package.
Bill plays, creates, and, inovates.

all, with a passion.

And, I love making Cue Caps for Josswest Cues..
In fact, my 1st. cue was a 8 Point Josswest.

And, back then, I did not know anything about Pool cues..

Is the only example I have ever seen other than my j.w.
On the 4 panels it has 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-1.

I’m not sure this is the right place to request this, but here’s my story. ,
I bought a Joss West cue around the year 1978 in Chicago and I still have it. During the early 1980’s, an old man who who was working behind the counter at Chris’ Billiards asked to see my cue. I foolishly handed it to him and he immediately put it on a lathe buffer to remove a speck he saw on the butt end. He not only sanded off the finish but he took off the JW logo on the white butt end which he thought was a speck. I sent it away to Bill Stroud and got the cue refinished with a leather wrap and asked him to put his logo back on. He sent it back to me refinished but did not re-logo the cue. Is there any way I could get the JW logo put back on my cue. This has been haunting me for forty years. I would be forever grateful.

I will be happy to engrave your cue.

However I will need to order a graver as I gave all my small tools away.

BTW, This cue is a Monster player!!! I can shot so good with this cue and I get amazing cue ball action!!! Thank-you for a great cue Bill and thanks again Alton!
