Don't see a problem with that in the least. You think one punch is ok, I think it's two. They are both reasonable, and neither is unreasonable.
ChopDic, or whatever his handle is, has an overactive imagination. He doesn't understand that nobody wants this little punk seriously injured, but sufficient repercussions for his crime.

Exactly. Throwing a couple of punches. Hell, the old guy went easy on him with two slaps and should be commended for showing marvelous restraint.

Pay attention. There was a follow up.

The old guy further physically retaliated after he slapped him.

No excuse for that. I wouldn't have any problem with someone breaking his arm on the spot to stop him from doing that.

The problem DOC is then several people would then break your arms nd legs.. ok

Apparently you didn't listen or you wouldn't know about the belt.

Have you had therapy to overcome the abuse?

Perhaps he lashed out so much because of his frustration with a lack of success having only been on a farm team? I guess the world needs bench-warmers too though.

Doc talking LOTS of smack.

Talking about bringing violence to adults who would see a punk missing his front teeth.

Why such violent words to men who want law and order and such obvious love for a violent "child"?

You're ready to fight all comers, but really? I doubt you're up to it.

IMO.

A doctor who needs to carry around guns...insecure?

Just wondering aloud, that's all.

Me?

LOL!

Well, frankly I never said me. I believe I said I wouldn't mind seeing it.

It seems others are making it personal, as if I said I would be attacking someone or bring violence. Perhaps I wasn't clear or misspoke. I don't condone physical violence.

Guns? How and why is that in the conversation? Whether or not or what I carry has nothing to do with it. Insecure? Wow. Were the writers of the Constitution insecure? LOL! What does being a doctor have to do with it?

All comers? LOL!
If you want to make it that way, yes, I have no problem with all comers. None at all. I certainly had not made it that way. I place myself between an abuser and a child any day. Committed to it. Have done it. Will do it again.

Just for the record gents. It's pretty pointless anyone arguing that this 17 year old in Australia can be charged with any criminal activity as an adult. Australian law does not permit 17 year olds to be charged or incarcerated as adults. They can only be dealt with by the criminal justice system as "juveniles".

Thank you. Obviously I was making that assumption based on what I have seen here in the US.

Good info. Good to know.

So based on jurisdiction, in addition to other matters, there is no doubt this is a child.

What's odd is that many saying he is an adult for having done this would say it was juvenile behavior if an adult had done it. What do they think juvenile means?

Prior to Feb 2018 17 year olds were treated as adults. They changed the law last year.

I don't care if he is looked upon as a minor in the eyes of the law or not. He conducted a premeditated blindside attack for attention.

IMHO he got off light.
