Torrified, spalted BE............ Was very lucky to get one board of this wood . These are the nicest 2 pieces , wiped with alcohol . 1.5 x 1.5 x 29L. The torrified wood is much more stable, and moves much less than regular maple . Fender guitar tested this wood , and put in an order for $258,000 from this mill . They love the color, the stability, the tight grain, and they say the tone is better , they came looking for Canadian hard maple , and fell in love with the torrified . I believe this wood to be in the $50 range . PM me your thoughts and offers if you would like .
