You could see his eyes first, almost luminescent through the smoky haze of the room. From the shadowy corner at the back of the booth, the voice came, quiet, but clear.

"Yeah... I dodge bullets... it's what I do."

:woot: :duck: :thud:

I’m thinkin’ I might need a bigger spot....that’s what I’m thinkin’....

And rightfully so, there, Mister Dood.

PT's stakehorse to me after I bust 'em the first time:

"Man... I wish I had a million dollars! in cash.".

Me:

"I wish you did too!"

Rib-eye ( realllyyyyyyyy fatty!!! ) is second on the list. Medium rare, smothered in seasoned sauteed fresh mushrooms. Fried onion rings. Fresh mashed potatoes. Fresh baked spinach with bread crumbs. Sweet iced tea.

French Apple Pie with heaps of Cool Whip. And cinnamon.

For desert...

Aighty, gang... today was the last radiation. Last chemo was a week ago. I'M DONE!!! Now it's healing time. It will be at least 4 weeks or so before I start feeling "normal" again and ( hopefully ) 6 to 8 weeks before I can start swallowing normally again so I can get rid of this feeding tube. But, one thing at a time. No more 80 mile daily round trips to north Tampa.

I'm relieved, needless to say.

Thank you again to EVERYONE for your help, encouragement and kindness through all of this. It's really meant the world to me and, consequently, to my family as well.

You are very welcome for all the support. You have made it thru a difficult process. Good job!

Michael, I was so happy to hear this that I decided to read every comment. All the food talk made me hungry.

Great job Michael.

Thanks so much, Will, truly. It's been an adventure!

Again, not so sure about the "loved" part, but I *will* settle for "kind of liked"! :p
