Phenolic jump cues

If someone poked you with a phenolic tip, do you think it would hurt? 
Sorry, I couldn't resist the smart-ass answer! Overall, I would have to say no. I have never had an issue with phenolic jump/break cues and the cueball. This is just my perspective/opinion of course.

No, if the cue ball is also made out of phenolic resin. The impact required to damage a phenolic ball with a phenolic jump cue is far greater than what a person can generate.
