This should be a scratch-off ticket and if your horse wins you get part of the prize money. I'm going with SVB.

Can you please post the most basic information of how the event will be played? You posted several times about the event, and several graphics posters were made, but this most basic information has been omitted.

Is it a ghost tournament?
Is it a picture tournament where the players play against each other, but somehow the balls are set on the table remotely?
Other?

Rules

● 10 ball ghost format
● Call shot
● Break and run rack = 1 point.
● Don’t run rack or scratch/dry break = 0 points.
● 10-ball must be the last ball, re-spot and continue if made on break or with combination.
● Rack only considered finished when all balls (cue ball) have stopped moving. Taking a cue ball while still in motion is a foul.
● Potted balls counted in case of tiebreak in group (see tiebreaker rules)
● Fixed 10 ball rack to be used. Rack will be randomly generated live in advance of tournament start. This pattern must be used for every rack in every match. Templates are mandatory.
● Wrong rack = 0 points. (players responsibility) NO WARNINGS!!!! Can be reviewed by the referee after the match is finished and scores adjusted. This takes all questions of pattern racking out of the equation.
● First break will be decided by the toss of a coin.

Tournament Format

Stage 1

● 8 groups of 4 random players playing round robin. 3 matches played by each player totaling 6 in one session. One session per day for a total of 8 days for Stage 1. Group winner advances to the next stage.
● Match consists of 9 racks per player alternate break.
● Most won racks wins the match and a match win. (ie. If player 1 breaks and runs 4 racks and player 2 breaks and runs 6 racks, player 2 wins the match and is 1-0. Player 1 loses and is 0-1). If the same amount of racks are run, most balls potted in the match will be the tiebreaker. .
● Best record wins the pool and moves on. Tied records see tiebreaker rules.

Stage 2

● Seeded 12 person single elimination bracket based on the amount of racks run in the pool. (ie. most amount of racks ran out of 27 racks gets the number 1 seed, second most amount of racks gets second seed, etc)
● Top 4 pool winning players get a bye into the quarter finals.
● The 4 lowest pool winning players will play a seeded match against 4 ‘wildcard’ 2nd place pool finishers to make the quarterfinals. Wildcards are determined as the highest ranked 2nd place finishers (see tiebreaker rules).
● Race to 7 in quarters, 9 in semis, and 11 in finals. Players need to play the same amount of racks. If both players reach their race number in the same inning, both players will enter sudden death where the next rack runs where the opponent doesn’t get the win. (ie. if player 1 breaks and runs and player 2 doesn’t, player 1 wins the match. If both players do or don’t run out, 1 more round of this will be played)
● First break will be decided by the toss of a coin.
● 2 matches will be played per day totaling 4 days for stage 2.

Hopefully this answers your concern for the event. Not trying to be purposefully vague. Just trying to be short and sweet. :D
