Any good rooms south of Philadelphia and north of Baltimore?

I will be heading to Baltimore in july for work and hoping to find a room to play in.
Heading down the day before I have work obligations so would love to play in a new room hopefully with some diamond tables.

I would recommend

Top Hat Cue Club. Very nice room. No Diamonds but they have 4 shimmed tBrunswicks.

Top Hat's Pretty Good

I don't know of any rooms between the greater Baltimore and Philly metro areas. But there is a pool room just barely north of Baltimore , right off the beltway, called Top Hat. It's a pretty nice room which has Gold Crowns instead of Diamonds.

Plenty of rooms around philly area but from about the northern area of Maryland to philly there isn't much. Delaware has I believe one room currently n it's literally on the border of pa it's basically in pa. Within 20 mins of philly there are plenty of rooms including drexeline,classic,mainline,west Chester, ball busters,royal(Delaware border) and many more close by in jersey. As far as a diamond good luck especially 9 footers jersey might be the closest 9 foot diamond this is def gold crown country

Yup, Top Hat is the place to be. As said GC's but they are extremely well taken care of and they have some good & tight ones as well. Pretty big place, can Def get any kinda action you may want if that's what ya want. If you want pm before yards go and I can put you in touch with some of my friends there - either to Mach up with or just knock some around. North of Top Hat by about 10-15 minutes, headed toward PA there is another room. It's called Magic 8. It's a smaller place and no Diamonds either but tables are half decent. This is a players room as well. They hold some Mezz events there - no idea when the next one is but it kinda feels like one may be coming up soon. Kid that owns the place is real cool too. Pm me with any questions, happy to help any way I can.

PA - Jason ( earlier poster in this thread ) would be a great guy to keep in touch with too as he just recently moved back in the area.

Maybe a change of plans and I maybe staying south of Baltimore so I can pick my boss up at BWI.

Any pool room and hotel suggestions around the BWI airport area. Doesn't have to be right there I can travel a bit I will have a car.

Poker room at Maryland live is huge, just incase you play.

There was a thread about a room opening back up around there but i think it was bar boxes for now.

Top hat is still probably your best bet.

Baltimore may get burned to the ground this weekend though.

I always stayed at Aloft its in Arundel Mills. Has a bar and a small crappy table - looks like an Anniversary, its 7ft.
Free shuttle to Casino(Maryland live) airport or pretty much wherever you wanna go(i think) casino is connected to a Mall, nice theatre, bass pro(or similar, cant remember)

Magic 8 Cue Club is a really nice spot too besides Top Hat; they are not far from each other. Magic 8 has great people and really good players.

You can play any game there like one pocket, straight pool, or even snooker! Very friendly people that you can match up with. Everything is very well maintained and clean, it also has a lot of places to eat around.

It has no bar, is BYOB and has a pit beef spot next to it.

If you are south of Baltimore I would suggest The Bank Shots Bar and Grill. 15+ Diamond Barboxes and a separate room with 3 9 foot Diamond Pro-ams.

I was going to suggest Champion Billiards Sports Cafe in Laurel, MD (between DC and Baltimore and not far from BWI). It was the site of the US Amateur Championship from 2000-2002. But I just looked it up and it appears to be gone.

They've been gone a while. Pool is dead in Laurel after USA Billiards closed its doors.

Could try 999's in Elkridge, not far from airport. Also, if your company is paying disregard but everything within " the airport " district is stupid expensive. You could go 5 miles in any direction away from airport district and exact same place will be half or less. Lastly I'm sure this does not apply but prostitution is rampant in the hotel district just as are the stings. I tell you this only because they are running scams where a cute girl will come and make friendly with you ( pretending not to be a whore ) then soon as she gets you outside or at hotel room her homies come in and rob you at gunpoint. This stuff is constantly in our local news.
