Can anyone comment on veneer from WR vs Atlas and Prather?
the only advantage of wood river is longer veneers,
comes in sheets/rolls as long as you want them.

they messed up an order of mine, i requested sheets 48" long
they sent rolls, all taped up, splits everywhere .
approx $150 worth that was unusable.

was never made right after numerous attempts
got tired of trying

We do offer 5 1/2" x 14" Veneer. We only cut up so much when we get new veneer shipments in, so our stock is limited. Therefore, we only dye them up for custom orders, which take approximately 3 weeks. Just something to keep in mind!

both Atlas and prather have good veneer....... who the hell is WR

Kim

I was trying to skirt the no sources rule, I assumed since Prather and Atlas were both suppliers here that it was permissible to use there names. I used Wood Rivers initials because I figured that if you dealt with them you would know who I was talking about.

Does anyone know if this is the norm? Has anyone else had this same experience?

i'd say, with my luck, i was probably the one & only
when i bought sheets, i was pleased
it was only the roll fiasco that upset me

I have purchased your veneers in the past and they were good quality no issues there. I was exploring Wood River because they deal in quantity and thought i would stock up on some common colors and benefit from the price break on buying in bulk. Do you guys buy natural veneers and dye them all your self's?

Yes, we dye them ourselves. Except for the black.

bad experience with wood river

I brought from them and they also screwed up my order and never made it right.
They treated me like very poorly. I would like to use some colorful adjectives.

what about beau at cueveneer.com? I'm not a fan of poplar and beau has euro sycamore. I just like the look more.
