SOLD to Wade

It needs a repair, one point has it's tip end missing (photos) . It's a shame because other than that, it's a terrific OLD Tim Scruggs sneaky pete that is really solid, nice and straight, points are even and plays beautifully, like an old Scruggs sneaky plays.

I decided not to send it off for the repair because that would probably require a refinish, which would be a shame since otherwise this is a solid original with, I would estimate, 30 + years of battle.

58" long, 19 ounces, 12.75 mm original shaft. The joint is piloted, a brass nipple into wood, 5/16 X 14. Can't tell if the ferrule is buckhorn or micarta, but it's got grain.

$400 plus $15 priority mail, insured shipping.

Such great old cues these are...fyi, point tips like this can be fixed without a refinish. It may not look like exact but the voids can be filled and the original patina like this cue has can be retained. I have done it for some locals in the past, on bar cue conversions.

That is the exact build I had. I went bust one night at the pool room and gave it to a dude for 100$ loan.

Came back a week later and he told me he sold it.

Then, about a decade+ later, I read it was the decider in a gambling match with pagulayan/ wiseman.

I loved that hunk of firewood.
