My brother is looking to buy a used table. We found one for sale but moving costs are a little more than anticipated. The one place I called is charging $375. I'm not familiar with the cost of this type of job so I was looking to you guys for help.

The table is located in Diamond Bar on the second story of a home and needs to be moved to a Covina home (single story).

It's an 8 footer, oak wood, drop pockets and I believe it is 3-piece slate. Not 100% positive about the slate though.

Can anyone recommend somebody that can do this move and install for less?

Please let me know if there's any additional details that I need to provide to better answer the question.

Thanks!

I'm not from California, but why not just ask your local poolroom who they recommend for such a job? Safe bet they know someone.

$375 doesn't seem like a bad deal for what he's looking to have done. Its definitely a two man job and will take a full day to complete.

That's a great idea Sjm, I don't know why I didn't think of that!

Thebigdog, that's what I was afraid of...
