Opinions on juma?

I have limited knowladge on juma.....what are your more seasoned and knowladgable cue makers opinions on useing juma in the joint and butt cap area....vs ageis or ivorine or phenolic......at the joint using just a tube in joint collar vs....capped like you would see in an ivory joint.....:eek:....would like to here opinions as a am new to this material execpt a few ferrules

Hi,

I love Juma for joint and butt caps under the finish. As for ferrules I don't like it from a finished product look as it does not polish out as good as I would like.

Grrrr . . yes it pops up an error now.

Anyway, go back to "Ask the Cue Maker" "Search this Forum" and enter Juma and you'll get lots of hits - it's a relatively common question.
