Just got back from a weekend in Chico,Ca taking a bootcamp lesson from Jackie Karol.What a great experiance and the old adage about teaching an old dog new tricks is bunk.Jackie was great and her insight into her training material and teaching methods made things easy to learn and simulate. Chico is a great town and I was in walking distance to the Down lo Billiards Club.Food was great and I'm thinking a summer trip for a follow-up is in order.Looking forward to a good season in pool league this year.This obsession with pool is a wonderful thing and people like Jackie just fuel the fire.I have played for years and being self taught has it's definite drawbacks.What a breath of fresh air she was for someone who was having trouble pushing his head through another level of refinement on the table. Kudus to you Ms. Karol and say hi to daddy too!:wink::grin:
