Long 3/8 x 16 Tap

Can anyone suggest a source for a 10-12 inch 3/8 x 16 tap to be used for installing weight bolts?

I suppose I could buy the 5 inch one and weld an extension on it but wondered if longer taps were available?

You’ll need a “ pulley tap” and of course make sure the shank clears the bore’

Research extension taps. Smaller shank than a pulley tap. I have an 8" one that I bought years ago. If you can't find one long enough to meet your needs , send me a pm, I'll ask my customer if he can make one. He works for a company that machines tooling for most of the major suppliers.
