Clearcoat over irish linen ?

I've had some poor luck with this in the past. Irish linen apparently doesn't like being
painted. What is a better material to coat over and where can it be found. One color
that I am looking for in particular is that loud colored green for a Seattle Seahawk cue.
Or even the dark blue. thanx

Rub a coat of five minute epoxy over the wrap and then clear over it with what ever cue finish you normally use.

Chris, I did that once using the slow west system and it completely changed the color from what the
customer asked for. If I use a 5 minute epoxy what brand? and also, is there any chance the epoxy will
yellow under the clear coat? thanx

I use Devcon 5 minute. It will be very slow to yellow.
