I knew Tim very well and we talked aboutcues often

He told me he felt like the flat face, wood to wood cues
were the most natural and best ones for playing pool

Once he said that cue makers had been trying to achieve
the hit and feel of the one piece cues, nothing was better

My guess would be that who ever gets this cue would be getting
something to brag about ,and enjoy playing with

I found this seller to be a good guy to deal with lso

I have a pretty cheap scale but it saying it weighs 18.15oz with the Scruggs shaft and 18.05oz with the Keith Josey shaft.
Between 14.20 and 14.50 for the butt - had trouble getting a good reading. 3.95 and 3.85 for the shafts.

Hey if you put a penny on the scale it will keep the butt from rolling off when
you weigh it. just deduct .09 oz and you will have the weight. nice offering.
glws.

I know huh? It plays so good with this Scruggs, though. And whenever possible I want to sell two shafts with a cue, especially non production cue.
Believe me, I considered just keeping the Josey :)

Keep the Josey shaft and give a price with just the one scruggs shaft.

Its hard spending $1000 for a sneaky pete, but when you consider its a scruggs

the reputation these had and still have

I bet its the best $1000 you could spend

who was that top level poker player one pocket player
almost cliffs speed who used to plat a sneaky scruggs,he had it stolen a few years ago and
was offering $1500 to get another one

I can't think of his name, but he beat me with 2 hit and the pick in Dallas

I laid out over a grand for my Scruggs fancy sneaky with one shaft- ivory piloted joint, ivory ferrule, Bacote wood into straight maple forearm- I don't regret the purchase - hits better than 90% of the 50+ true customs that i have owned!

That ‘s what it costs to land a primo TS sneaky and the ivory joint versions are the most rare.
I regret not adding one when there a few posted on the Forum over the years & that’s my loss.

Don’t follow in my footsteps and when you see one you like, get it and don’t quibble over price.
Now don’t overpay if it isn’t in pristine shape or else adjust your offer to match the cue’s condition.
