Anybody have some inlay material that matches the Ivorine - 4 Rod?

im not sure, but maby real ivory, white ivory. i have never used it and never will but seems about right, minus the weaving of ivorine. elephant that is

You could get some 1.375 Ivorine rod and cut it in to slabs for inlaying.

Ivorine 4 is terrible to work with. I dulled a brand new carbide tipped $40 saw blade in one cut making a joint collar. Never again.I have the rod and actually have thought of it.
I guess I was being a little paranoid about how brutal
that stuff is on tooling. I was also thinking of the
possibility of it wanting to pop the finish. I do know
that hss tooling does not like this stuff at all. Yes I do
use carbide.
I also have seen plenty of problems with the expansion
and contraction rates of other phenolics compared to
wood down here in the desert.
I already try to stay away from metal rings in my
cues as it is.
