Hi Guys,

Introducing the new generation Molavia low deflection cue tips:

The Molavia LITE hybrid tip is only 5mm thick and weighs in below 0.03 oz, lower tip, and harder hit provides for lower deflection and complement low deflection shafts.

The tip is the first contact to the cue ball, and how the tip reacts to the touch helps with keeping the cue straighter.

Uniquely handcrafted with Italian cowhide with premium quality treated pigskin leather, thinner and lighter cue tip designed to help with deflection.
This high-quality tip provides a unique harmonic that will allow you to subconsciously recognize a quality hit and feel on your first contact with the cue ball consistently.

Half Layer Regular Tips (Any hardness - S, M, H) $38.00 for 3 Tips shipped via first class with tracking.

Half Layer 3 Lite Tips (Any hardness - S, M, H) $45.00 Shipped for 3 Tips via first class with tracking.

USPS Priority Mail with tracking: additional $5.00 to price.

The hardness of these tips are measure in NM (Newton Meter).

Half Layer (Softer than Lite) - 0.04oz, 6mm+ thick
Soft = 10Nm
Med = 18Nm
Hard= 30Nm

Half Layer Life (harder hit) - 0.03oz, 5mm thick
Soft = 15Nm
Med = 22Nm
Hard= 35Nm

1 NM give your the torque that 1 newton on a arm that is 1 Meter long.

Any video comparison of to prove they are low deflection compared to other premium laminated tips?

just wondering. Tim

Thanks guy, for the orders. These tips have a unique harmonic that translates to the feel and hit of the cue. I know some of you will love these tips as much as I do.

At the moment, we don't have any hard video evidence to prove that it reduces the deflection....the amount of effection is very minimal, but as a player, I can say this tip plays incredible. The low deflection effect is a concept in the design based on the fact the harder and lower tip help reduce deflection. The cowhide from Italy was custom selected for its property to hold the consistency of the curvature of the tip..thus, providing a more consistent hit.

All I can say is try one and provide us with your feedback.

So what you have here is a few layers of pig hide on the bottom closest to the ferrule, with varying thickness of cow hide glued to the top of that? Any durometer readings showing how hard these things are at the beginning of their lifecycle?

Yes, hence is called half Layer and Half Layer Lite (LD). The two layer on the based of the tip is to help with keeping the movement of the tip consistent.

Lowering the tip height and weight also help reduce the movement/deflection. (represented by line in image)

The top layer is made of treated Italine cowhide designed to hold the curvature shape of the tip thus providing a more consistent hit.
