i break, pocket a ball, leave the table to get my shooting cue and my opponent has made a ball. Foul? obviously. BIH obviously. table is still open? ball stays down?

I’ve never heard of this.....but I think I gotta show some mercy here..
...I’d tell him to put the balls back.

Potential for "Unsportsmanlike Conduct".
Definitely a "foul" with BIH.
Opponent could not have made a legal shot, so Table should be Open.
But TD also has the opportunity to simply give you the game from UC.

Depending on where you are, you might just have to square off with him. How big a boy are ya?

This whole situation would have been avoided if you didn't use a break cue. That's why I think break cues should be outlawed! :D

j/k I would be graceful in this instance and just have him put the balls back or just start shooting from where they are now with the table open.
