Team U.S.A. made me proud. It pretty much came down to a dry break. Nothing to hang our heads about.

Interesting match.

Shane badly missed the two ball early, but it shouldn't have mattered, except then Earl missed a simple safety. Next time up, Earl had to kick and fouled. In rack 11, Earl's poor safety gave England control of the rack, but Shane bailed him out with a fantastic shot five ball and made a fine carom on the nine ball in rack 12. Worst of all, as Jimmy Wych noted, Earl got into Shane's head in this match by being a control freak.

But then, Team USA found its form and made a match of it, but a dry beak in rack 15 proved fatal, with England A winning by 9-7.

The better team won, but Team USA fought bravely. Nice match.

ESPN3 rocks!

You point out all of Team USA's faults and don't seem to mention anything that Team England did wrong. You'd make a great commentator! :smile:
