Balance Point

Hey guys, can anyone tell me which cue builders would make what would be considered a 'forward weighted cue'? The AE cue I play with has a balance point @ 19" from the butt plate and I'm really comfortable with that. Just wondering about other builders. Thanks, Lanny

Capone cues are generally forward balanced. Mine is 19". I have an ebony Bluegrass that is 19.5, and an -R- conversion that is 21. I really like the forward balance.

Any cue that is really forward weighted would make me leery.
Is the handle made of cheap wood is a question that gets in my mind.
19 from the bottom is an easy target.

Cue building

Most of the cues I build are forward balanced. Like Joey said 19 inches from the bumper is relatively easy. Check out my website and see if anything there interests you (www.triplecrosscues.com). I would enjoy discussing your design ideas.

19" on a 58" cue is just about perfect!!! It is funny so many makers have said it is easy to achieve with all of the cues that do not balance so well.

layanis are forward balanced...mostly cuz of his unique joint which adds weight to the front of the cue.
