a Kid Sized Cue w/ Adult Features
My 7yo son has been bitten by the bug. I got him a height proportional cue, which as you can imagine, makes a world of difference. I did a lot of research before I made a purchase. If one is going to go the custom route, great. If you're not, I've found there's only 2 choices, the McDermott "Prodigy" series and a world crap.
The Prodigy series has nearly everything you would want in an adult size cue, but in 32", 42" & 52" models. They've got a tapered shaft, Irish Linen wrap, and solid construction. They look pretty good too. As far as everything else, like I said, I found nothing but crap. Possible I missed something, but the Prodigy line met all our needs at an excellent price point. Nielsen's Billiards (aka joerackem on eBay) is where I purchased the cues (got 1 for the 5yo too). They treated us real well including service, prices & shipping. I highly recommend them. -Z-
