9-ball
1. lee van

5. busty
Off the top of my head for the current top 5 in 9-ball I'd say, in no particular order:

Orcollo, Lee Van, Carlo, DD, and Raga (though I might still put Alex in the mix as well).

Wow, tough poll that includes rating some of the disciplines rarely played and some players we rarely see. I'll take a shot, but fear I lack sufficient knowledge to do the job well. It's also a safe bet that I'll just plain forget who some of the top Filipinos are in the absence of a list.

9-ball
1. Dennis Orcullo
2. Carlo Biado
3. James Aranas
4. Johan Chua
5. Jeff DeLuna

10-ball
1. Dennis Orcullo
2. James Aranas
3. Lee Van Cortezza
4. Carlo Biado
5. Alex Pagulayan

one pocket
1. Alex Pagulayan
2. Dennis Orcullo
3. Francisc Bustamante
4. Roberto Gomez
5. Efren Reyes

straights
1. Dennis Orcullo
2. Lee Van Cortezza
3. Alex Pagulayan
4. Warren Kiamco
5. Francisco Bustamante

thanks..
yea, I can't believe I forgot about alex
I just put my mind to work off the fargo list
I watched raga give efren a 10-ball spot and go down
but I really haven't seen much of several (obviously) really good filipinos
even ignacio and chua I haven't seen enough to really "know" their game
tho they've been around

bb, if you're reading this
this post is reason why I (pool gods forbid) asked the question first
this forum is a fort knox worth of pool experience and knowhow
maybe I'm a fool for not knowing in the first place
but I'd be more of a fool for not knowing
and
not asking

thanks stu, neat list
I had jeff and busty in my 10-ball top 5 for their break
I forgot about roberto..another great player and big breaker
as I mentioned above, I haven't seen much of chua
even tho I know he's been around
crazy to see efren at the bottom of a top 5 in one pocket
but I guess it's father time who should be giving out spots

Almost positive that in any of the rotation games Orcollo and Biado are still the top two with Dennis out in front. I think the new contingent of Aranas, Raga, Ignacio, Chua, etc. are all still grouped together in a close race.

nothing
its like what tip should i use on my schmelke cue
