Loved this movie. Well acted and a very well told story about grifters and con games. One of the most realistic I ever saw, and the ending is a shocker! :wink:
Oh my. Such horrible people!
Remember seeing this back in the eighties on vhs. Entertaining but the acting dialogue was terrible first thing i remember seeing joe mantegna in
Joe Mantegna and Lindsay Crouse. I liked this movie better than The Sting back in the day.
Not to mention the incomparable Ricky Jay.
Ricky Jay was one of my favorite magicians. I loved watching him and Richard Turner doing card tricks and gambling sleights. Just awesome.
This is on at 9:00 central tonight on MGM channel if you have Direct tv.
Watched it in two sessions. I found the primary sting unlikable so I left the end for the next day. One thing I noticed, the title as an acronym is HOG. Flick's prolly full of wurd from the empire.
