I read 16oz but forgot the added shaft weight.
Never did talk about a cues weight in sections.
Most all of his cues were at Least a heavy 19, and always 20 oz and uppish.

Did gus always use different rings on the shafts, i was under the impression the rings on all of his cues matched

I must be in all the right places, i've looked at 4 in the last week and all have matching rings

And all 4 are in the same price range as yours lol

No malice intent, just that i'm shopping for a szamboti and know there are quite a few questionable ones for sale if i am to buy one, i'm guessing i would have someone knowledgeable to verify the authenticity, maybe pete

Well you are in luck, there is nothing questionable about myself, or this cue. This is 100% a Legit Gus, was cleaned up by Barry not too long ago so that is that. IMO, no one better to authenticate a Gus, than Barry himself.

Barry has his fathers book and can look them up and yes Barry is the man to authenticate or repair his fathers cues shafts tend to be 3.7- 4.0+ but he was a custom maker I have several of his cues as well as his sons cues! This cue looks legit to me
