What’s the best cue tip tool for shaping? I know they’re a lot out now and just want some feed back. Thanks!

Get yourself a piece of 220 sandpaper, it work creat for scuffing up a tip, if you need to burnish your tip, a NEW Dollar Bill works great.

Simple solution, and will not set you deep in debt.

I have the following I use seldom.

Dime Radius Willart

Porper Tip Burnisher

Tip Tapper

Grand total investment under $15.00 should last forever, unless you loose em.

If I install a new layered tip , can the Willart be used to bring the new tip to a finished dime ? I thought it might be a little to course to use ? One more question, can you use the nickel radius file ( tweetens) and then use the dime Willarts to finish it off ?

Willard are great shapers, the down side is they remove a lot of material.

Use sparklingly. The 220 is my go to to scuff a tad. AKA little amount.

If you over use Willard, you will be replacing tips. Frequently.

For NEW tips (Non-lathe) I smack into a rough shape with Bastard file, then burnish with leather & fine tune with Last4Ever (or your preference, I also like Williard Tool.)
