Hello AZB, I've got a work trip coming up in March for Sacramento.

What places should I try and check out?

You can count on it!

Got training all day, but I'll definitely be by after. What's a good place to pick up a cue around there?

I've heard their 30 some tables are basically filled up all day long with the more serious regulars - very impressive as most rooms struggle to keep their tables in use during the daytime.

Tuesday and Thursdays are the busiest because seniors play for $2 per hour and there is a large group that takes over many of the tables out front.

There are eight Gold Crown fours in the tournament room that fill up when they open at 10am. Some of these become available in the early afternoon til 7/7:30 when most nights they are used for various tournaments.

If you are interested in a $ game, many of the regulars will give up a table and there are plenty of players who will play without gambling.

Pool Rooms in Sac Town

Hi
Do try The GoPlayPool App. It is free.
It has listing of the pool halls, table counts, types and any tournaments and/or league availability.
All other amenities are listed as well.

Personally being familiar with the area. You def. want to check out Hard Times, Sacramento.

:) :yikes:
