I decided I wanted to give leather wraps a try and didn't want to spend $400 + for a cutting jig/fixture. So, utilizing the search function here I found a few homeade ones, and looked at some store bought ones and came up with my own conglomeration. This one most resembles the one Darren Hill made and posted pictures of, just mine is made of aluminum and delrin, and it uses a single cutting guide that flips to the other side. I have tested it on a duffrin that I plan to convert eventually and it made one cut line just like it's suppose to. I'm thinking about making a second cutting guide that is .005" thinner to give a .010" gap for more stretchable leather so that it won't bunch up. But thats easy enough to make later if it would be of use. I have to do a bunch of practicing before that. Anyway here are the pics and sorry if I should have posted this somewhere else (couldn't think of a better place where my labor would be appreciated). Any comments good or bad are welcome. Tom

I will probably glue some soft leather on the V's so there is no chance of marking up a cue. It is about 20" long overall and I can do a 16" wrap if needed (I have a cue with a 14" wrap is why I made it so long). All the holes are just lightning holes (if I left it solid it would have been heavy even though it's aluminum).
