Bergman 10% BNR rate. Cant believe Shaw didn't jump
at the chance to play him.

Try Shane 44% his previous big race if I remember right.

Yes, the play in this match was way below that in the second match in this series -- Chang vs. SVB -- and the two matches were in the same place.

Anyone think Bergman has much of a chance against SVB in their 10-Ball match (best of 5 races to 25) in August?

Sully (Jeff Sullivan) announced that the 4th match in this "Clash" series will be Dennis Orcollo vs. Klenti Kaçi on July 6-7.

And I think he said the 8-man tournament with a $20,000 prize to the winner will be shortly after the next DCC.

For someone with a BNR rate of 20%, Shane
can spot 10 games race to 50.

See Shane vs Siming Chen, although it was 9b.

Shane 44% BNR
Chen 20%

Shane won 74- 52.

Just counting the first 5 sets race to 11,
Shane total games won was 54-39.

9b or 10b, in a long race Shane's BNR is routinely around.
40%+.

Real simple analytics.

Unless it's someone like JL Chang who is super strong after the break and has a superb safety game, then can they fade Shane's break advantage.

Jayson doesnt like to play mental games (or to be more precise he doesnt like to be played by others) prior to his matches. Unfortunately that was exactly what happened on the day of planned start of that match. And with similar prior experience with Justins side (the set he lost like 5 years back) Jayson decided he has had enough of BS and cancelled the match. Simple as that.

Having heard nothing about this in the last few weeks, and seeing nothing about it on sullyvisiontv.com, I imagine plans have changed.

It would be nice to know the size of pockets, condition of cloth, and humidity.
.....these are crucial factors in break success.

I agree, pt. I think the responsibilities of commentators/streamers should include clearly stating the rules for the event and listing the equipment being used (including the specs and condition).

I have played on GCIs with five inch pockets where the break was a disadvantage...
...Humid, cloth loose, and not clean.
