Pool Coming to Broadway

Just read that Hugh Jackman is to star in a revival of Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man" on Broadway in late 2020.

Besides the point some feel this is the greatest of American musicals and the role of Professor Harold Hill one of the greatest Broadway roles for an actor/singer, it is noteworthy the focus of the book revolves around the installation of a pool table in River City simultaneous with the arrival of a flim-flam man. Can't wait to see it.

It was a very catchy song that went into depth on the degradation that Pool would bring to this community. All in fun of course, but not exactly a glowing recommendation for our sport. :rolleyes:
