The World Championships in Cairo had a somewhat boring opening day, but they are now in fifth gear. Favorites are flying out already.
- I feel sorry for Dani, he's always so strong when it matters most. But you have to say... those two glorious rail-first points by Nguyen in the latest stage of the match made him a deserving winner.
- I feel sorry for Eddy, no third world title for him (yet). But he simply was not at his best this week, and he'll be the first to admit that. Congrats Ruben.
- I feel sorry for Marco, who welcomed me in Bolzano last week and proved to be a phenomenal teacher. But Torbjörn was much the better player in this match.
