I have an early Mike Sigel custom cue available for trade. This was the flagship model of his first line, originally selling for somewhere in the mid to high 3000's.
Ebony nose with 8 ivory segmented points. 3/8x10 joint. Ebony butt sleeve with 16 medium ivory diamond inlays, 4 large ivory diamond inlays, and 16 diamond gemstones. (The diamonds were an aftermaket addition. I have no idea who did the work.) 120 individual pieces of sterling silver in the ring work. Butt cap and ferrules are not ivory.
Workmanship is rough in some places with visible glue lines, but overall it's a great cue.
It needs a refinish... The cue was a player and it shows. There are several nicks, dings, and scratches throughout the cue, and both shaft collars have some small chips at the lip. There's also some kind of crackling taking place at the bottom of the butt cap. Cue will need a new wrap, new tips, and probably new ferrules as well.
As best I can tell, everything is straight both together and apart.
Butt: 15.7 oz / 29"/ handle is on the thinner side
Shaft 1: 3.9 oz / 29" / no tip / 12.5-12.75 (I'm using an old brass jeweler's caliper.)
Shaft 2: 3.7 oz / 29" / some garbage tip / 12.5 - 12.75 (Again, I'm using an old brass jeweler's caliper.)
I'm realistic in terms of how Mike's cues perform on the secondary market, and open-minded in terms of what I'm looking for in exchange.
Lower 48 U.S. only. Escrow to your heart's content. Even willing to send first when dealing with certain members.
Thanks
