Tip storage

I keep all my tips in plastic storage trays separated. Another repair guy I know says that he stores all his in small zip lock bags or they go bad if they are exposed to air. I have a pretty good inventory of all kinds of layered and leather tips. Any advise or input is appreciated.

Keep them hermetically sealed in a mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnals porch. Seriously... I would guess that it would depend somewhat on the environment but I keep most of mine in zip lock bags too.

Get one of those food vacuum sealers, sucks all the air out.

When you cut sealed bag to get one out just put the cut end back in sealer suck the air out & re-seal it. Works great. I just ran out of original moori's from the 90's a year ago. The last tip was as good as the 1st one after 18 years using this method.
