Could you take a cf shaft, fill the tapped hole with epoxy and then redrill and retap it.

What type glue would you guys favor for installing the plug of phenolic or olive wood/bocote?

You can use 1/2 13 tap too if you like it coarse.

I purchased a radial joint Revo shaft that seems sloppy compared to the original shaft that came with the cue, but I just figured the original shaft was threaded with an undersized tap to keep it tight. The Revo doesn't seem to come loose, so I just use it the way it is.
