A Joss vs a Joss vs a Joss

I am tring to find out what the difference is between the Joss gold letters vs the Joss in black thin letters vs the Joss wes or something like that ..
I would like to know a simple way to tell the cheaper joss vs the better grade joss cues...
Same with Schon cues I am tring to learn so if I by one I dont get burned on price and quality...

bill stroud was partners with dan janes at joss in maryland and left to start his own company in aspen(ie joss west)
