Sorry to hear that....I hate to hear of rooms having to close (a little to close to home). These "goofs" in state legislation (most...who never worked a friggin day in their lives) sit in their state capitols and BAN SMOKING from pool rooms and the like. It doesn't matter to them that they killed your (and other) business. I assume your customers were like many other "rooms" who closed. Kids over 18 but under 21(too young for the bars) who would sit around, play pool, smoke cigarettes, grab their girlfriends rear ends once in a while and learn about the REAL world from the older guys in the room. A time honored right of passage and service provided by pool rooms across America. These morons (legislators) don't care that it was your "lifeblood" that went into the business (100 hour + workweeks etc..etc..). I guess what REALLY kills me though (as in Illinois...HERE) is that our "smoking ban" that went into effect 3+ years ago (that took approx. 30% chunk of my sales away) NOW has an impact on the Illinois Casinos (because in the Chicago area, "casino" patrons can drive across the border to Indiana where "smoking is allowed). Ain't these same M/F er's "RESENDING" the ban on Casinos because it hurts tax revenue. Oh I see...it was OK when it put a big "dent" in my operation....drove many other pool rooms, bars etc..etc.. out of business....your attitude was "Oh well too bad". NOW you should have to take a big bite out of that "shit sandwich" you guys made and EAT IT. Well at any rate (before I go crazier than I am now)...Sorry to hear that your room is closing....Good luck (hope you hit the lottery)
