Ivory Joint Paul Mottey hoppe ring cue

I really do not want to post this one
as available for sale, therefore no trades
even remotely considered, nor will I accept
less than my very fair pricing on this cue.

This cue was made by Paul Mottey, dated 5-03
and is in easily 98+% condition. It rolls as if it
were brand new with no marks or blemishes at all.

All white on cue including joint caps is ivory.

Full 13 mm shafts
Shaft 1 at 4oz,
Shaft 2 at 4.1 oz.
Ivory ferrules,
Searing hard tips

Butt is Afzelia burl and birdseye maple.
Veneers are black, green, purple, natural.
Genuine Cortland wrap.
5-16ths piloted ivory joint. Butt is 15.2 oz.

Several years ago I was in Las Vegas with Paul Mottey

I bought about 6 of his fine cues and he had one just like this he had built for himself
to play with (incidentally he was a very good one pocket player)

I wanted this cue then,and I kinda do now ,but I have just bought 6 or 7 cues

Asias dad is not a bad guy to work with

This could be your dream cue

A quality cue like this beauty is worth it for a player or collector.
Priced within reason too.

There was a question sent to me in a PM about the dark mark at
the wrap end on the point under the signature as to it being a
gouge or poorly tied off wrap.

What it is and this photo will show is it is a dark piece of burl at that
exact point of the cue. No gouge, no poor wrap end, the cue is
dead nuts correct.
