At 64, don't know if I see Sigel, having retired from competition for 20+ years being able to keep up with the 56 year old Earl, who has remained active in tournament play. Maybe in 14.1. Still should be a great show - particularly worth it if they are mic'ed up!

nice! finally a match I can be excited for as Sigel is probably tied with Mizerak as my favorite to watch. It's funny, every Sigel match I've seen available on Youtube from this past decade, the announcers always mention how they would love to see a Sigel vs Strickland matchup with both players mic'ed up. Can't wait for this!

Oh my. You're kidding right? Ever hear Sigel do commentary? If he has a microphone, it may be unbearable.

My prediction is that Earl stomps him in every format. Earl can play 14.1, however Mike's rants may throw Earl way off his game. Lets hope the pockets aren't huge.

The only way I'd buy the stream, is if they keep microphones off the players.

The players will be "miked." That should be interesting. Earl has the edge since he's been competing against top competition most recently. But Sigel had his number years ago. What makes this match interesting to me is that neither player has a weakness at any of these games. Both players play all games well. It should be very competitive!
